Even in Japanese It's Good

How much do I love the movie She's The Man?  So much that I'm watching it right now IN JAPANESE!  And it's still funny.

Best Movie Ever! (ok not EVER but still such a great movie). Pizza, beer and she's the man (in english or japanese)...what more could you ever need? :)

Lesson Learned About three months ago, I finally decided to give in to the hype and do the whole Japanese hair straightening thing. Basically, you sit in a chair for three or four hours and get shampooed, slathered with a cream that stinks like rotten eggs in hell, rinsed, slathered again, flat-ironed, and then proceed to have your ends trimmed. Well, I wasn't thrilled with the results. My hair was totally straight, but it didn't have fantastic body and movement like naturally straight hair. And ok, I probably shouldn't have expected it to, but the cut I got seemed to emphasize that...

Must There Be Rain? I'm staring outside my window and waiting for boats to start floating by. How can it possibly rain as much as it has been lately? It seems that every other day it's either pouring, misting, or drizzling. Did we somehow relocate to London and I didn't even notice?
